Do you love the 70s? Then you will really like the Milla blouse . The wide sleeves and the ruffled underbust give the tunic that certain hippie blouse touch. The slit in the center front extends to the dividing seam and can be closed neatly with the help of the narrow ribbon that emerges from the front edge of the collar. We have sewn on two different fabrics again, see for yourself the different effect of the plain fabric in contrast to the fabric with the border. The women's blouse is actually easy to sew, only the stand-up collar requires a little practice.
Length at center back = 71 – 74 cm.
In these instructions, Milla was sewn from a lace fabric.
Required material:
We recommend a flowing silk, viscose or cotton voile .

Cutting:
Cut the pattern pieces out of your fabric. Lay the selvedges parallel to the center so that you can place pattern pieces on the fold. The pattern pieces should all lie face up. Always align the thread arrow in the same direction on all pieces and parallel to the selvedge of the fabric. Transfer all the clippings from the pattern through a 3mm long incision with scissors or chalk. Clip the seam allowance in the fabric fold because this is always a center. 
What you need from fabric:
- 2x front part, opposite
- 1x back part in the break
- 1x front part at the bottom in the break
- 1x back part at the bottom in the break
- 2x sleeves, opposite
- 2x collar band in the break (with insert for opaque fabric)
- 2x ribbon
Sewing instructions:
To sew this blouse you will need a sewing machine and an overlock sewing machine, or alternatively the zigzag stitch on your sewing machine to neaten the cut edges. Use a fine sewing needle (70 gauge) to match your choice of fabric. In addition to the description, the colorful lines in the pictures show you where a seam needs to be sewn. When sewing, pay attention to the seam allowance included in the pattern. Seam allowances that are not specifically marked are 1cm wide!
Have fun sewing! 
You start by stitching through the armholes, neck hole and front shoulder if you have also chosen a lace fabric. This prevents the material from expanding. 
Gather the bottom pieces between the clips to the appropriate width for the top pieces. To do this, choose a large stitch and stitch through the section at 0.7 cm and 1.2 cm. Pull on the loose ends and push the fabric together to the desired length. When sewing it together with the top, sew between the two stitches and unpick the bottom stitching for the gathering. 
To create the slit in the center front, sew the front pieces together, right sides together, approximately 3 cm from the bottom edge. Fold in the slit edges 2x 0.7 cm and topstitch them at 0.5 cm. 
Sew the back pieces together (between the two gathering stitches) and finish the seam allowance. Follow the same principle with the front pieces. 
Place the front and back pieces right sides together and close the side seams with a 1.5 cm seam allowance. Clean these together again. 
Then close the shoulder seams with a 1 cm seam allowance and neaten these too. 
Iron the ribbon lengthways into the fold. Fold the lower end in by 1 cm, then iron the long edges and place the ribbon in the fold. Stitch the ribbon close to the edge. 
Place the collar stays right sides together and the open ends of the ribbons between the clips at the center front. Sew the bars together at the top edge and take the ties with them. 
Pin the right side of the fabric from the collar stand to the left side of the top and sew the collar stand with a 1 cm seam allowance. Pay attention to the clips for the center back and shoulders. 
Now the collar stay needs to be sewn on from the outside. To do this, fold the seam allowance 1 cm inwards and stitch close to the edge. 
Fold the hem in 2x 0.7 cm and stitch it through at 0.5 cm. 
Sew the side seams of the sleeves together, right sides together, using a 1.5 cm seam allowance and finish the seam allowance. 
The sleeve hem is also folded in 2x 0.7 cm and stitched through at 0.5 cm. Finally, sew the sleeves into the correct armholes using the clips and finish the seam allowance.
