The classic Gudrun shirt gets a great individual look if you patch two different fabric qualities, which can be achieved wonderfully thanks to the dividing seams. With the round neckline and short sleeves, Gudrun is a great basic cut that you can use to make the most of your leftovers.
Length at center back = 61 – 66 cm
In these instructions, Gudrun was sewn from viscose and jersey.
We recommend a soft, draping jersey . Combined with a flowing, printed silk , viscose or polyester satin .

Cutting:
Cut the pattern pieces from your outer fabric. Lay the fabric with the right side of the fabric facing up and the selvedges parallel to the center so that you can place the front and back pieces together. The pattern pieces should all lie face up. Always align the thread up arrow on all pieces in the same direction and parallel to the selvedge of the fabric. Transfer all the clippings from the pattern through a 3mm long incision with scissors or chalk . Clip the seam allowance in the fabric fold because this is always a center. Markings define positions of dart ends , pocket positions, and much more. Transfer these either with chalk or a pin . 
You need:
- 1x back part in the break
- 1x front part in the break
- 2x front side panels in opposite directions
- 2x rear side panels in opposite directions
- 2x sleeves opposite
- 1x strip
Sewing instructions:
To sew this shirt you will need a sewing machine and an overlock sewing machine, or alternatively the zigzag stitch on your sewing machine to neaten the cut edges.
Be sure to use a jersey needle and use a stretchy stitch, i.e. if you are sewing with a household sewing machine, you should use either a zigzag stitch or the three-part elastic stitch and then all seam allowances again with a zigzag stitch or another appropriate stitch Neaten so they don't fray. In addition to the description, the colorful lines in the pictures show you where a seam needs to be sewn or something needs to be glued.
When sewing, pay attention to the seam allowance included in the pattern. Seam allowances that are not specifically marked are 1cm wide!
Have fun sewing! 
First, grab all the front pieces. Place the pieces on top of each other, right sides together, and sew them together with a 1cm seam. The seam allowance is neatened together and ironed towards the center front.
Do the same with the back piece. 
Now sew the front and back pieces together, right sides together, at the shoulder seam. You also neaten this seam together and iron the seam allowance towards the back. 
Next, close the side seams, right sides together, with 1.5cm. Neaten the seam allowance again and iron it backwards. 
We continue with the sleeves. First, neaten the hem and press it 2cm inwards (this makes it easier to finish the hem later). Then close the sleeves at the underarm seam, right sides together, finish the seam allowance and press them back.
Pin each sleeve into the appropriate armhole (the clips must line up, including the side seams). Sew the sleeves together, right sides together, and finish the seam allowance. The seam allowance is ironed into the sleeve.
Now fold the sleeve hem inwards and stitch it at 1.5cm. 
For the neck hole, prepare the neck hole panel. Press them in front of you, left to left, in reverse. Now sew the short ends of the strip together, right sides together, so that you have a ring (unfold the strip again). Iron the seam allowances apart and the facing, left sides together, in a fold.
Now sew the trim, right sides together, to the neck hole. I placed the seam of the strip on the seam of the left shoulder. 
Finish the seam allowance of the neckline and press it down. The seam allowance is then stitched flat with an extra tight edge. 
Finally, just neaten the hem and iron it inwards by 2cm. Sew the hem to the top at 1.5cm and iron it flat.
