Erding is our new barrel trouser, bringing this new silhouette easily into your wardrobe.

The wide-cut leg gets its typical, slightly rounded shape from the unique pattern construction, tapering back in towards the hem. It is precisely this silhouette that makes the barrel trouser so casual and modern, while still being easy to style.

With Erding, we have deliberately opted against a classic trouser fastening. The elastic waistband makes the trousers comfortable and easy to sew: no zipper, no buttonholes, no complicated closure. Just slip them on and feel great.

Discreet side pockets are integrated into the design, emphasizing the minimalist look of the trousers.

Erding is intentionally cut slightly shorter. Combined with the wide, rounded leg, this gives the trousers their modern proportions. They pair just as well with sneakers as they do with loafers, boots, or ballerinas.

Erding looks especially beautiful in fabrics that provide a bit of structure. Denim, twill, or firmer cotton fabrics really bring out the barrel silhouette. Using a softer fabric will result in a more relaxed drape and give the trousers a different character altogether.

And even though Erding might look like "a lot of trouser" at first glance, it is a surprisingly simple sewing project. If you have been hesitant to try sewing trousers before, Erding could be a great place to start.
